The band
Two men. No rules.
This two-man death metal force from Germany delivers hard-hitting, fast riffs combined with atmospheric, heavy and groovy sections, showing how death metal can sound today. If you want to hear and feel a massive storm breaking over you, this is pure death and doom swirling around your ears.
Basti (vocals) and Marco (music) are long-time friends who previously played together in a hardcore band. After countless shows across Europe, it was time to bring their death metal vision to life, which happened in 2023.
Their passion for extreme music has always been there, with a special influence from classic death metal bands like Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel and Entombed. UNINHIBITED is both a tribute to these legends and their own interpretation of what death metal sounds like today, founded purely from love for the genre.
Although they live in different cities, Oberhausen and Munich, Basti and Marco remain deeply connected through their shared history of releasing music and touring. Writing music together over the internet has become efficient and focused: usually Marco brings the first idea for a song, and Basti takes over to sketch the vocal lines, sometimes on the same day.
The most important thing for them is to capture a certain atmosphere, one that reflects their dark lyrical themes in the best possible way. UNINHIBITED is heavily inspired by old-school death metal and embraces its raw power. At the same time, they aren't afraid to open up the sound with atmospheric elements when it feels right. No boundaries, no rules, just music they believe in. And if that resonates with others, it's the greatest reward.
